How to read the EggWatch live feed

Check freshness before you chase a spawn

Open the live tracker and read its connection message and last sync time first. A confirmed egg describes what a publishing watcher saw in Roblox. When that watcher stops sending fresh results, the website can retain the previous egg and its timestamp. That saved result is useful history, but it does not mean the egg is still available in your game.

For example, if you open EggWatch after leaving your phone idle and see an older confirmation, compare its time with the current reset countdown. Use Refresh global feed to check for an update. If the status still says the last global result is saved, wait for a watcher to reconnect rather than treating the old card as a new spawn.

What EggWatch means by confirmed

The Windows companion reads text from the Roblox game window. Egg names are checked in a fixed proportion of the upper-centre announcement area. A supported name must appear with the word Egg in the same label or immediately beside it. White player-chat labels are excluded. The detector also asks for repeated observations before publishing a name, which helps reduce one-frame reading mistakes.

The public feed comes from one active publishing watcher at a time. The designated main watcher has priority when it is eligible and online. Other running watchers wait in a backup queue, and an eligible backup can take over when the active watcher stops. A phone viewing the site reads that shared result; it does not scan Roblox itself.

Confirmed is a detector status, not an official Roblox guarantee. Covered labels, unusual effects, a minimised game, an unsupported name, or unclear text can cause a missed reading. Check the in-game announcement when making a time-sensitive decision, and report a mismatched name with its timestamp so the reading can be investigated.

Read the timer and history together

The egg reset countdown is aligned from the game's bottom-right timer. EggWatch continues that alignment through five-minute cycles between readings. Reaching zero tells you about the reset cycle; it does not select or guarantee a particular rare egg. A fresh confirmation still needs to be detected in the announcement area.

Previous eggs is a record of detected spawns. Several eggs can belong to the same announcement, so the current result may contain more than one name. A high count in history is not a probability estimate: the record depends on how long the publishing watchers were running and what they could read.

Each confirmed egg shows Spawn area when the publishing watcher reads a matching location in the announcement. When that reading is missing, Known area shows the pet's location from the catalogue below. This also fills locations on older saved eggs. Location not detected means that neither an announcement area nor a catalogue location is available. Rift locations still require their own announcement.

How the Rift Dimension panel differs

The Rift panel follows the schedule configured in EggWatch: a window starts on the hour and half hour and lasts five minutes. Its countdown is calculated from the clock. The total shown since the configured Saturday baseline counts scheduled windows, including windows when no watcher was online. It is not a count of visually confirmed Rift appearances.

The Rift panel also shows the last area read from an explicit Rift spawn announcement, with its detection time. A previous window's location is labelled Last detected Rift area; it is not reused as the current spawn. Rift's Notify me option is a separate reminder from the egg notification picker. Keep EggWatch open for that scheduled reminder. If a game update changes Rift's actual schedule, report the change so the panel can be corrected.

Which eggs can the detector recognise?

The catalogue below covers Secret, Eternal and Divine pets and shows their known areas. Only supported names are allowed into the confirmed feed. Recognition handles common spacing differences such as TRex, Razor Fang and Arch Angel, while displaying the catalogue spellings T-Rex, RazorFang and ArchAngel. Bomboclat Crocolat and Strawberry Elephant can remain in detection history but are excluded from the website's notification choices.

When new eggs are added, update the Windows companion as well as refreshing the website. A new checkbox on your phone cannot teach an older copy of the PC detector a name it does not contain. Rarity labels identify each catalogue entry; they do not claim a spawn rate or a guaranteed value.
