Browsing and device preferences

You can view the tracker and guides without registering. Your browser stores device preferences such as egg notification choices, Rift reminder settings, and cached feed results. These preferences can differ between devices. Clearing site data removes locally saved preferences and may sign you out.

The hosting service also processes information needed to deliver requests, such as network addresses and technical request details. EggWatch uses limited request information to protect account actions against abuse.

Optional accounts and public content

Registration stores a unique username and a salted password hash. The site uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in; sessions expire after 30 days. Password changes invalidate existing sessions. Your password is not displayed on your profile.

Suggestions, their authors, like totals, public profiles, chosen avatars and banners, bios, community ranks, and donation rank badges are visible to other visitors. Owners and admins can view an account directory to manage community ranks. Do not upload information you do not want others to see.

Watcher data and notifications

The Windows companion processes captured game frames on the PC. Its feed updates contain structured egg names, rarities, times, and watcher status rather than sending game frames to the website. Profile pictures and banners are separate uploads and are stored so they can be displayed publicly.

If you enable browser notifications, EggWatch stores the push subscription endpoint and egg choices needed to deliver those alerts through your browser's push service. You can block notifications in your browser or device settings. Device permissions and website account sessions are separate controls.

Donations and external services

Buy Me a Coffee processes donations. EggWatch receives payment-event details used to calculate verified donation totals and rankings; EggWatch does not collect your payment-card details. A donation code can link a verified supporter record to your account. Refunded payments are excluded from leaderboard totals.

Links to Discord, Roblox, and Buy Me a Coffee take you to separate services with their own privacy practices. If you configure a Discord webhook in the Windows companion, selected spawn notifications are sent to the destination you chose.

Advertising

EggWatch loads Google AdSense across the website to support automatic advertising. Where ads are served, Google and its partners may use cookies or other identifiers to deliver, measure, and personalise advertising, subject to the applicable consent choices.

Questions and data requests

You can change your bio, picture, banner, and password through My profile after signing in. For other account-data questions or a deletion request, contact Cs_Thunder using the EggWatch contact options. Ask for a private conversation and do not post your password or private codes publicly. Information required for your account, public contributions, notifications, and verified supporter records remains stored until changed or removed; some service records may also be needed for security or payment reconciliation.
