Install EggWatch from Chrome

EggWatch's Android app is the website installed as a web app. The home-screen icon opens the same shared tracker, guides, and suggestions you see in your browser. You can watch the public feed without making an account; sign in only when you want account features such as posting suggestions or editing your profile.

Start in Chrome on your Android phone or tablet. If you followed an EggWatch link inside Discord or another app, open that link in Chrome first so you can use Chrome's installation menu.

1. Open Chrome and visit https://eggwatcher.com. Let the tracker finish loading.
2. Tap the three-dot menu beside the address bar.
3. Choose Install and create shortcut, then Install. Depending on your Chrome version, the option may be labelled Install app or Add to Home screen.
4. Confirm the installation prompts and add EggWatch to your home screen when offered.
5. Open the EggWatch icon. Check the live feed's latest sync time to see whether fresh results are arriving.

Choose your eggs and enable notifications

Installing the app and allowing notifications are separate steps. On the tracker, go to the notification area. All high-rarity eggs covers every supported Secret, Eternal, and Divine egg. Selected eggs lets you pick individual names: for example, Gargoyle and Pure Jellyfish can be selected without subscribing to every Secret egg.

Tap Save notification choices, then Enable website notifications. On Android, that is the button's label even when you opened EggWatch from its installed icon. Allow notifications when Chrome or Android asks. EggWatch attempts a test notification after setup so you can check whether this device displays alerts.

Remember to save whenever you change your selection. Selecting no eggs in Selected eggs mode pauses those alerts. Your settings belong to this device and browser, so configure them separately on another phone even if you use the same EggWatch login.

If you cannot find the install option

Check that EggWatch is open in a normal Chrome tab, not an in-app browser or an Incognito tab. Update Chrome and reload the site, then look through the three-dot menu again. If your browser offers a home-screen shortcut instead of installation, that shortcut can still give you quick access to the tracker.

After adding it, look for the EggWatch icon on your home screen or in your app list. Open the icon and confirm that it takes you to EggWatch before setting up alerts. You can also keep using the website in Chrome while resolving an installation problem.

If notifications do not arrive

For a blocked permission, open eggwatcher.com in Chrome, tap the page-information control beside the address, and open Permissions, then Notifications. Allow notifications and return to EggWatch to enable them again. Chrome's Settings, Site settings, Notifications also lets you review site permissions. Private browsing does not receive website notifications.

Check Android's notification settings for Chrome or the installed EggWatch app as well. A device-level block can prevent an alert even when the website permission is allowed. If you previously turned alerts off, review both places rather than repeatedly tapping the enable button.

When the test works but a real egg alert is missing, compare the newest confirmed egg with your saved choices. Then check the feed's last sync time. An offline publishing watcher cannot supply a new detection, and installing the app does not itself make your Android device a game scanner.

Use the installed app day to day

Keep an internet connection available for new feed results. A previously saved egg may remain visible when the source is stale, so use its timestamp to judge freshness. The reset countdown and old history do not guarantee that a particular egg is currently available in Roblox.

Open or refresh EggWatch to pick up website changes, including newly added notification choices. New names also require the publishing PC to use an updated Windows detector. If you clear Chrome's site data or reinstall, check your saved egg choices and notification setup again.

Rift's Notify me button is a separate scheduled reminder and requires EggWatch to stay open. Your Android egg notification selection does not switch that reminder on. For help with a failed setup, include your browser name and the message shown by EggWatch when contacting the community.
